Directions
In cases of severe bleeding, place gauze compress on wound and apply direct hand pressure if blood soaks through pad on wound and apply direct hand pressure if blood soaks through pad without clotting, do not remove pad; apply additional compresses or layers of cloth and increase direct hand pressure until blood clots.
